The Northern Partners JJBH initiative is a collaborative effort between the NC Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and Partners Behavioral Health Management. The Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) makes service recommendations for youth in the target population.

Our Process
Screening
The Juvenile Court Counselor (JCC) administers the NC Risk Assessment (NCAR), NC Assessment of Needs (NCAN), and J-SOAP if applicable. For substance use, the JCC administers the CRAFFT. Referred youth receive a Comprehensive Clinical Assessment by an approved PIHP-enrolled provider.
Assessment
The JJBH multi-disciplinary team (MDT) includes Juvenile Justice (JCC), Partners, behavioral health provider(s), family members, and other community partners. The MDT reviews the assessment, develops a care plan, and coordinates services.
Treatment
Treatment services may include: Outpatient treatment, Intensive In-Home, Community Support Team (CST), Facility-based Crisis, Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Program (SACOP), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT).
