Our Process
Screening
Youth participating in the JJBH Program are identified through the screening and assessment tools utilized in the court process. YLS/CMI, NC NCAR and NCAN screening tool results, the Comprehensive Clinical Assessment, and other behavioral and substance use screening and assessment information shared between systems is utilized to identify the youth participating in the JJBH Program. Additional screening and assessment are completed as recommended by the MDT to appropriately identify the youth's needs and to establish baseline measurements to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
