Our Process
Screening
The Juvenile Court Counselor (JCC) administers the NC Risk Assessment (NCAR), NC Assessment of Needs (NCAN), and J-SOAP if applicable. For substance use, the JCC administers the CRAFFT. Referred youth receive a Comprehensive Clinical Assessment by an approved PIHP-enrolled provider.
Assessment
The JJBH multi-disciplinary team (MDT) includes Juvenile Justice (JCC), Trillium, behavioral health provider(s), family members, and other community partners. The MDT reviews the assessment, develops a care plan, and coordinates services.
