Our Process
Screening
Youth eligible for the JJBH program are referred to an approved Behavioral Health Provider by the Juvenile Court Counselor. The Behavioral Health Provider completes the comprehensive clinical assessment (CCA), which incorporates GAIN-SS, a substance abuse screening tool. The results of the assessment and the CCA are reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team to recommend appropriate treatment services.
Assessment
The Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) completes a comprehensive assessment along with a Care Plan outlining interventions for each targeted need. All services are individualized based on each youth.
Treatment
An individualized care plan is developed addressing the treatment areas using evidence-based practices (Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and the Seven Challenges).
